~~~~~Holding On!!~~~~~

Almost everybody faces the "Monday Blues" on Mondays but for today, it wasn't that bad... First thing in the morning was our Networking and Media Services lesson and the first thing I came into the room, my teacher asked me to do a presentation on the assignment that I just emailed him last night... At first I was feeling all tired and in a daze but upon hearing that, I was completely awake... I don't find it a chore to present my assignment but honestly speaking, I feel happy and honoured to be able to present it to all of you... Well, I really hope that all of you understood what I was explaining... Anyways, after my presentation, Mr Dino took over in explaining it more clearly and it's much easier to understand... I find that it was a great morning to start with...

Let me carry on with the next lesson... For 3d Max, we have a project in our hands... To be exact, four hands instead of two since it's a group project... That's kind of out of the point but anyways, we have to design three objects minimum, placing in the lightings and the animation has to be around 15 seconds... We managed to complete half of our designs and I believe that we'll finish it in time...

For Customer Service lesson, we learnt about table manners... It was kind of a learning experience for us as we didn't know that it was suppose to be done in that manner... At least we do now...

~~~~~It's Too Quiet!!~~~~~

Well, it has been a rather long past week for me once again... As you all viewers can see, I haven't been updating again... Finally, the weekends are coming up and thus, giving me some spare time to blog tonight... I'm not going to write my entire week like I did in my last post but instead, I'm just going to give a summary...

Finally, the DMT assignment is done... My group and I were overjoyed about the outcome of our documentary video... It was a success in the making... Although there were some parts that could have been improved on but overall, we were very happy about the final result... It was a great experience for all of us as this was the very first time that we did our very own documentary... It was CooL!!

Nothing much happened today... I didn't attend guitar CCA as I was feeling tired and burned out so I decided to go back home after school... I was supposed to watch X-Men 3 with my homies but in the end, I fell asleep and they were also too tired to go out... But I must admit, those five hours of sleep was worth it... Until now, I still feel energetic...

One week has passed and 4 more weeks to go to the start of our examinations... Are we prepared?? Well, only we ourselves will know the answer... It's going to be an intense week coming up as we have phase tests (practical tests) theory tests and most likely, more assignments... It's going to be one roller coaster ride... Stress is building up everyday... Hang on tight folks, it's going to be one bumpy ride...

~~~~~Enduring!!~~~~~

After much of my busy schedule, it's time to take a break and to do that is by blogging... I can tell that it's been more than one week since I last updated... I apologise to my faithful readers for not keeping my blog up to date... So now, here's how my week went by...

On Monday, Randy and I started off with our 3DMax project... Our lecturer agreed to our storyboarding and gave us the green light...

Now for Tuesday... Nothing much happened today except that we learnt how to use the Windows Media Services on the Windows 2003 Server... It was kind of interesting doing networking as now, we know the basic things to upload to our websites or maybe even blogs...

Lots happened on Wednesday... In fact, today was a VERY long day... Today for DMT, we did our shoot for our very own documentary... It was a learning experience for all of us and to add to that, most of us were nervous as we never did this sort of thing in our life till now... Good thing for us, we finished our shoot faster than expected... Some took more than two days to complete it... Anyways, after school today, Randy, Ricky, Edric, Yi Hao, Melvyn, Vio and I stayed back until 10pm... That's like more than twelve hours in school... We had to capture all of our own documentary videos into Adobe Premiere and not only that but, we had to capture all of the rest of the groups' Road Show videos too... Not forgetting ours of course... The good news was that at least all the videos were looking good but the bad news was that, we had to spend lots of time capturing some of the videos because of the time-line break... So unfortunate but, at least we managed to finish everything up thanks to Mr Joel, for lending a hand... Make that two...

Thursday was a very tiring day for the seven of us due to the lack of sleep the previous night but, we still endured the tiredness and came out victorious... We did some editing of the documentary videos for DMT today...

Friday was a rest day for the whole school because of the polling day so; the school gave all the lecturers and students a break... After all that unbarring hours in school and the lack of sleep, I slept through my entire morning and afternoon and only to find myself waking up around 5pm... It was a good sleep I must say...

Today was the time for me to get up, do some of my unfinished assignments and proceed on to the gym... Everything went as planned today... Woke up around 11am and did part of my unfinished assignments and left for workout at the gym around 4pm... Surprisingly, I met my friend who I haven't seen for a long time... I did my workout for about one hour plus and decided to go to 7-Eleven with my homie to buy some drinks... It was a great day and workout today...

~~~~~How Great Can It Get??~~~~~

Public holidays are days that we could either spend quality time with our LORD , our family or our friends... It's these days that at least we could find some time to relax and take our minds of studies or anything stressful... But I won't be able to tell from other perspectives but this is what I feel and most likely, most people may find that this is what they actually do too...

For my day today, I woke up early in the morning to help my mum and sis carry stuffs as they got their Sunday School Teachers' Retreat... I went there with them, put the stuffs down and made my way to the gym... Anyways, for your information, Tampines gym is much bigger and nicer now... New machines and the view is, better than the previous gym... Now you can actually look at the skies while doing your work out... Alright, back to my work out at the gym... For the first time in my life, I actually exercised for 3 straight hours... No kidding... I didn't even sit down for a rest... I kept going on from machines to machines, working out on all parts of my body... I was actually waiting for my homie but in the end, he didn't turn up due to his stomach ache in the morning... Anyways, I met my church friend at the around 1pm... So I decided that I should call it a day when he also wanted to leave... That was around 2pm... So now you know... I exercised from 11am till 2pm... After that, we went our separate ways... He went swimming and I went for my lunch...

I was planning to have my lunch at my grandparents' place but due to the sudden heavy downpour, I decided to eat on my own at KFC... In the end, my homie showed up... Well, at least he showed up in the end... In the evening, my homie went to church and I went back to the Teachers' Retreat to have a barbequed dinner...

~~~~~Could Have Been My Last~~~~~

Well, my day started off alright I guess... PE was great... I played soccer with a few of my classmates and by luck; I scored the first goal with a fantastic volley... Can't say anything much about school today except that we just received our new assignment from our DMT teacher and that is, making our own documentary... It's CooL!! as we get to film it using their video camcorder... I can't wait to film my group's documentary... It'll be a hit... YEAH!!

Speaking the word hit... Something terribly and shocking happened to me today after school, on my way home... I was crossing at a traffic light and I actually wait for the green man to show before I started crossing... But then, one crazy and fast motorist on her motorcycle almost knocked me down... It was just a second delay that I was saved... I must now thank God for saving my life... If I walked slightly faster, I would not be here posting this... The motorist was just centimeters away from me... That's very close in fact... I had to keep my balance in order to stop in time too... But everything is good thanks to the LORD, God my Saviour to delay the speed of my feet... Thank You LORD!! I'll never forget this trauma...

Today I went for Holy Communion with my mum and sis... The sermon for today was taken from Psalm 11... The verses tell us that we should rely on the LORD in whatever we do... Whenever we want to take revenge, we should let the LORD handle it as He understands each and everyone of us... Whenever we are lonely or scared or whatever emotions we're facing through, the LORD knows but He wants us to pray to Him as that is one of the ways to contact one another... Prayers are very powerful... It won't be answered in an instant but the LORD hears... He knows what has to be done that is the best for us and the only thing we can do is, have faith and place our trust in the LORD... We should seek refuge in the LORD as He will take good care of each and every one of us... Just have faith and trust in the LORD with all your heart, your mind, your soul and with all your strength...

Straight after Holy Communion, we went to Century Square to have our lunch at Cafe Cartel... Lunch was delicious by the way... After that, my mum and sis went shopping while I went to cut my hair... Now I feel all cool again... Now that's CooL!!... That's pretty much of it for this Sunday...

~~~~~Break is over!!~~~~~

Today was the second day of school after our long 3 weeks break... Lesson has resumed again like per normal and I'm glad that the timetable has not changed... It's great to see my friends once again and studying together...

For yesterday, nothing much exciting happened except that our class started at 1:30pm instead of 12:30pm due to the new intake students... Some of us turned up at 12:30pm as we were not informed earlier but on the bright side, we were very early... The reason why our lecturers pushed the time back was, they had lots of arrangements and meetings to attend to due to the new April intake...

For Labour Day, I had lunch at Seoul Garden with my mum, sis, grandparents, younger and elder cousin... To my surprise, I saw my primary school friend working there... Well, I didn't get to chat with her as she was on duty... At first I didn't notice her as she looks different but she still remembered me... Not bad I must admit, after 6 years, she still recognised me...

Habakkuk 3:16-19 (New International Version)
I heard and my heart pounded, my lips quivered at the sound; decay crept into my bones, and my legs trembled. Yet I will wait patiently for the day of calamity to come on the nation invading us.
Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior.
The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights. For the director of music. On my stringed instruments.

Today's sermon was touching for me as in these verses, it shows that although some things do not turn out the way we want it to be, we should always rejoice in the LORD as He has plans for us... No matter what the circumstances are, we should always rejoice in the LORD and be joyful in God our Saviour...
