~~~~~What A Week!!~~~~~

Wow... What a week I had... Before I start with what went on today, let me backtrack first...

Last Sunday, I was supposed to have lunch with my small group after church but I didn't join them as I had a family lunch... It's very difficult to have a family lunch on a Sunday as my dad would sometimes work on Sundays but last Sunday was exceptional as my dad was off... After our lunch, we went back home... It was only around 1.30pm so I decided to ask Randy whether he wanted to go cycling and much to my surprise, I gave him the wake up call... Anyway, he agreed so; I waited for him downstairs as he wanted to meet me first... His timing was very accurate... As I went down he just reached so, I didn't have to wait and neither did he... We then cycled to Downtown East NTUC Resort to play pool... When we were playing pool, Randy spotted that how I held my pool stick was wrong so he taught me a few tactics and aiming skills which really did well for me... The end score was 7-5 and I think all of you should know who got a 7 and who got a 5... After that, we cycled back to Tampines and I suggested grabbing a bite at Mr Prata but Randy missed the pancakes at Simei... Since it was still early, I cycled with him to his favourite pancake shop... Wow!! I didn't know that the pancake tastes great... Thanks Randy... After that, it was already 7pm so we cycled back to Tampines as I had to go home for dinner... Randy cycled with me to my house before he went back home... I really enjoyed myself cycling, thanks Randy...

Now I'm just going to summarise my entire week... From Monday to Thursday, it was not just another day at the office... I worked overtime from Monday to Thursday as I wanted to earn back my two days pay when I went on leave... Today I also wanted to work overtime but my boss had a meeting at 6pm so she chased us out... What a tiring week at the office....

~~~~~I think I've got it!!~~~~~

I just came back from my bible study session and I've got to say, it was interesting and meaningful... Before I continue on, I shall summarise my entire week first...

Last Saturday, I went with my mum and sis to watch My Fair Lady, The Musical, at the Esplanade Theatre... I had no idea what was the story about and I thought that I would get bored by it at first but in the end, I conclude that it was fun to watch... Thanks mum for changing my mind into watching this musical...

As for last Sunday, I went lunch with my small group... After that, I headed to Tampines Mall to meet up with my mum and sis... It was raining so heavily but luckily, I wore my windbreaker when I went to church...

Well, from Monday to Wednesday, it was another day at the office... I'm glad that I've found a job as now I could slowly pay back my mum and dad the cash I owed them for my M8 project... To add on to that, I could finally get my very own electric guitar as I worked very hard to earn that amount of cash and willingly worked overtime these past few weeks to earn the extra to get it...

Now for Yesterday, I went to Temasek Polytechnic open house... It was interesting to find out the different courses but the weather was drying me out... My mum and sis tagged along too as they never seen the inside of TP...

Let's get back to the present day... Tonight's bible study session was interesting and meaningful as we unlocked more on the mysteries of the end times... We studied on Revelation 1:9-20... We shared on what worshiping God in spirit and in truth meant to us... We had a lot of discussions but at the end of the session, we really learnt more about the second coming of Jesus Christ...

Alright, that's my whole entire week... For now, it's game time... So cya all real soon... But for now... This is JoNaThAn... signing out*...

HEY EVERYBODY!! I know it's very late to say this but anyways, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Well, since my last post, I was busy working and still am... As you can see from the time, it's 12.30am already but why am I still blogging... Very simple, you'll find out as you read on...

Anyways, my celebration for the New Year was kind of relaxing as I stayed at home to watch the countdown with my mum... On the 3rd of Jan 2007, work still goes on for me till now... By the way, I'm now so used to scanning policies that I can scan 200+ a day... Let me tell you this, each batch consists of 7 policies and one batch has 100 over pages that have to be scanned... It's not as easy as you think it is... In order to scan 200+ policies a day, you need skills... It doesn't mean that you can just feed all in at one shot but you must be alert or otherwise, two papers may be scanned in as one image instead of two... So that's what I would usually do at work everyday but if not, I would be doing removing of staples, batching or indexing...

Now back to the main question, why am I blogging this "early"?? Enough of the suspense, I went jamming with my usual band members, Jeremy, George and Terence... We went at night as I had to work OT till 7pm but anyways, the jamming studio was at Boat Quay... When we arrived and waited for the room to be cleared out for us to jam, there was a band that jammed on metal songs, I mean it, PURE METAL... The singer had a metal voice that was like WOW!! When the room was cleared and everything, it was our time... We jammed on the songs from Bullet For My Valentine, Stone Sour, Nirvana, Greenday and others... And guess what, we even jammed on Smoke On The Water but it was kind of funny as we didn't know the lyrics to it so, we made our own... We even jammed on the song "I Want Candy" by Aaron Carter but we made it into a METAL version... It was a BLAST!! To add on to that, we even created our own metal song but I guess that it's not finalized yet... After all that, Jeremy and Terence lost their voices due to all that screaming... Some water will do the trick but, it only worked on Terence... As for Jeremy, his voice was still "zhao sia"... We really had a great time jamming once again... Our first jamming session for the NEW YEAR!!

Anyways, it's time for me to hit the sack... Tomorrow is another day at the office... So cya around my fellow readers... Goodnight for me and Goodmorning for you... This is JoNaThAn... signing out*...
