YES!! FINALLY THE EXAMS ARE ALL OVER!! The exams ended last Monday, 25 August 2008...

Just right after our exams, Monday, I went out with my friends to AMK (Ang Mo Kio) Hub... We had our very late lunch at Mos Burger... After that, we went to shoot pool... First game I won... Second game I lost... Third game was our team who lost and the last and final game, our team won... We then went to Cathay and some of them decided that they wanted to go for movies while a few of us decided to head back home... What a way to wind down after so many weeks of studying and 3 days of examinations...

So far for the rest of my days, I've been catching up on my sleep and just chilling out at home... Only for yesterday, I decided to head out to Marina Square to do shopping... Big thanks going out to the special someone who accompanied me...

For today, I went to have dinner at my Grandparents' place... When I arrived, my Grandma and little Cousin just finished their dinner... My Grandma accompanied me in the kitchen while I was eating... My Mum arrived after that and had dinner too...

Well, I guess that's about it... Apologies for the slow update and for keeping all of you waiting... Since the Olympics just recently ended, I'll be posting my memories of the Olympics... Updates will be more ongoing now but I may be tired due to work... Thanks for visiting!! I really appreciate it...

~~~~~Sis Birthday @ Amara Hotel~~~~~

This morning my Parents, Sis and I woke up early as I had to serve today... We managed to reach the church before time and I was early for my SVL (sound, video, lights) duty... I just love serving the Lord using the skills I'm good at as I believe; He gave me the gift to do so... It goes out to everyone too... Do you sometimes wonder why do you love doing something you like and being good at it, like your hobby for an example??... Well, the answer I believe and stated in the book of 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 of the Holy Bible which says: ⁴There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. ⁵There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. ⁶There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men.
⁷Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. ⁸To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, ⁹to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, ¹⁰to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. ¹¹All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines.

After service, we made our way to Tanjong Pagar to celebrate my Sis's Birthday... We had our lunch at Element, Amara Hotel... We decided to choose the High Tea buffet instead of the Alacarte menu... The food there was amazing, although they did not have Chicken Rice... We were all filled to the brim and we made our way back home after that...

My Dad decided to come back home first while my Mum, Sis and I paid a visit to my Grandparents' place... It's been almost a week since I had seen them and I'm glad to see everything was alright... My Grandma asked me to hang up the Flag upon leaving the house as that's what she'll do every National Day... We came back home after that and just had MacDonald's for dinner...

I guess that's about it... I'll be updating more often now since I'm free in a way or two but once the exam draws closer, updates will be slow... To all taking exams, suffer now and enjoy later... It'll be all worth it once it's over... All the best and I pray for all to have the strength, wisdom and motivation to study hard... Thank You Lord!!... This is JoNaThAn... signing out*...

~~~~~The Dark Knight~~~~~

It's been a couple of weeks now since I last updated my blog... The last time I updated was after my Small Group retreat... Well, I have been totally busy with projects submission and studying of tests... Finally, all the tests and the presentation of projects are all over...

Last week was our Introduction to Entrepreneurship presentation, which was on Monday... The very next day, it was our Internet Application and Development Project (IADP) presentation... Two days after that, Thursday, was my Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Presentation...

This week was kind of toned down as we had to study for 4 tests... 2 theory and 2 practical... First up was on Tuesday and it was for IADP... Although it was just 20 MCQ, they weren't that easy after all... On the next day, there were 2 tests for some of us and 3 tests for the rest... Early that morning, we had our Business Process and Optimisation (BPO) practical test... After that, 5 hours later, we had our Web Application Development (WAD) practical test... By the way, class started at 8am in the morning and by the end of the second test it was already near 7pm... Yesterday was our OOP test and it started during our night class, which was around 8pm...

Today was finally a day that we all had been looking forward to... All we have left is to submit our individual project on WAD this coming week... Exams will be on the 18th, 21st and 25th...

After school today, I made a wrong choice of going home as I just wanted to leave my bag at home... I was supposed to meet KK, Shui Min and Darryl at Causeway Point for movies at 7pm and I finished school around 4:30pm... If I had just taken the train from my school to Causeway Point, it was just 6-7 stops away but no... I came back home and had to take the train from Tampines all the way to Woodlands... The ride was just unbearable... It was almost 2 hours before I reached Causeway Point as the train just had to have such good timing to terminate its service at Yishun... Finally when I arrived, they had already eaten dinner but thanks all for getting me Nuggets and Fries...

The movie, The Dark Knight, was not too bad... I was looking forward to more action instead of talking... The plot was good in a way but it was such drag... Batman didn't seem smarter in this movie... Somehow I feel, they shouldn't squeeze in Two-Face near to the end as it was like seeing 2 stories put together... I still prefer the first movie than this but nevertheless, it was worth watching it... "You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become a villian"

Well, I can finally catch up on my sleep and concentrate on studying for my 3 major exams... This is JoNaThAn... signing out*...
