Well, before I get started on the main topic, I shall summarise my past two days at work...

Last Thursday, my boss didn't turn up for work again for some personal reasons... Anyway, I managed to finish all the work she assigned me and gave myself work to do later on...

Yesterday, my boss came back and the other two colleagues of mine didn't show up... One was on leave and the other had sore throat so I was left alone with no one to talk to... It was very boring but at least, I managed to scan 450 policies... That was way over the target but still, it was boring...

Now for the main event that lighted up my entire boring three days at work... Just now, I went for my Small Group's barbeque... It was the first barbeque I had with them and overall, I enjoyed myself but for now I am feeling a bit weird... I guess I might have eaten too much but anyway, I brought over garlic breads and some wet tissues... I was glad to hear that a lot of them praised my garlic breads... If any of you are reading this, I want to say THANK YOU!! We had the barbeque on the rooftop of the church and that reminds me of a song... Anyway, it was fun hanging out with all of you... Just seeing you all laughing and chatting and just basically enjoying yourselves, really just rounded up my Saturday with a BANG!!

Well, everything has to come to an end and now I am feeling all tired but warm on the inside... Cya all tomorrow... But for now... This is JoNaThAn... signing out*...

~~~~~What A Day!!~~~~~

Before I start off with what went on for today, I shall summarise my past two days...

Last Monday, my Grandparents came to our house... My Mum and Sis went to fetch them in a cab while my Dad and I prepared all the CNY goodies and drinks... They arrived shortly and my Grandparents sat down, ate some goodies, talked and then, toured around our house... Later on, all of us went down to Tampines Mall to have our lunch at Family International Buffet and it was on me... I wanted to give all of them a treat with my pay since I got it but never got a chance so, that was the time... After that, my Mum and Sis brought my Grandparents back to their house while my Dad and I went back home... It was such a joy seeing my Grandparents so happy coming over to our house and enjoying their lunch... The smiles on their faces just made me want to shed tears of joy...

As for Yesterday, I went to watch Ghost Rider with Jeremy, Lester and Jeremy's church friends at Lido... It was a great movie overall but the dialogue was kind of crappy when Johnny Blaze changed into the Ghost Rider... I guess they wanted to add some humour into the whole movie but somehow, it just did not go with the flow... Anyway, after that, we walked around Orchard... We walked from Lido to Wheelock and somehow, ended up at Cineleisure... After that, we went back home... Wow!! The long weekends just passes by like the wind... I hope that all of you enjoyed your long weekends...

Back to work for Today... It was a sleepy morning to start with as everyone, including myself, was still in the holiday kind of mood... My colleagues and I went to Burger King for lunch and went back to the office with a heavy stomach and felt sleepier than this morning... It was hard for us to keep awake but in the end, we managed to survive and it was HOME SWEET HOME... It was such a shagged day at the office...

Well, tomorrow is another day at the office... Wish me luck... But for now... This is JoNaThAn... signing out*...

~~~~~HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR!!~~~~~

What a week it has been... My weekdays were boring but as it came to the weekends, it gets much more interesting...

Anyway, from Monday to Friday, it was work and more work... On Monday, there was a new temporary staff that joined us... She was waiting for her A Level Results... At first, she was quite quiet and all but I guessed after a day or so, we started talking a lot... At the end of this week, she has become much more sociable and is adapting well to the environment...

Now, for my weekends... Let me start off with yesterday... Yesterday was the Eve of The Lunar New Year and what we'll always have every year is a family reunion dinner... I woke up at 2pm in the afternoon as I didn't sleep well during the weekdays but anyway, my Mum and I made our way to my Grandparents' place at around 4pm to help out with the setting up of table and all... I told my Grandma that I'll put up the curtains for her the day before so, when I went there, my Grandma gladly told me that she was waiting for me to give her a hand... So I got the curtains hung up and it looks fantastic... My Grandma has good taste... All my relatives came over slightly before dinner time to help out too... Finally, the family reunion dinner could begin... We did a loi hei before we started with the main dinner... My Grandma cooked all the food that was laid on the table, of course with some help from my sis, little cousin and aunt... I just love eating my Grandma's cooking and not only that, with the entire family... It's only once a year that we're all gathered together, sitting at the same table and eating together... Although it's the normal talks we have in our everyday lives but, I just love seeing all of us together... Seeing my Grandparents with all smiles, it's a joy that I could never put it in words...

This morning, my family and I went to church... It's very rare that the first day of Lunar New Year falls on a Sunday so I thank God for it... After that, we went to my Grandparents' place again to celebrate... The whole family gathered together again, sitting down and eating all the CNY goodies... After everything was done, my Mum, Sis and I stayed back about 2 hours or so to clean up the place and put everything back... Soon after that, we came back home after a long and exciting day... I just love seeing everybody on the streets, all dressed up from top to toe with new clothes and walking together as a family... I just love Lunar New Year... So just now, we ate Canadian Pizza for dinner... What a wonderful day I had...

Well, after such a joyous occasion, I shall wish all of you a HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR!! But for now... This is JoNaThAn... signing out*...

~~~~~Dinner Time!!~~~~~

Well, nothing much went on today... I woke up around 12pm and felt awful... I guessed that I had caught a flu bug or something as my throat is still feeling dry and one thing I hate is a dry cough...

Anyway, I skipped breakfast and ate lunch instead... Just now, I went with my Mum to visit my Grandparents and we bought for them some Chinese New Year goodies... I wasn't the only one who was sick... When we went to my Grandparents' place, my little cousin was sick too... After chilling there for a while, we made our way back home for dinner...

I just love tonight's dinner... It was a steamboat dinner and I just love it... My Dad was off today so he decided instead of having a family dinner outside; we'll have it inside... Thanks Dad, I really missed your cooking and especially the soup... It was the best dinner as it also made my throat better and how I miss having steamboat for dinner... While eating dinner, we watched Disney's Channel Movie, Sky High... I actually wanted to watch that movie when it was screened in the cinemas last year but missed it... Well, at least I managed to watch it in the end... Wonderful dinner, Wonderful movie, Wonderful night....

~~~~~Update of The Week!!~~~~~

It's been a week now and it's time for me to update so, let me recall back this whole week and I shall start off with last Saturday...

Last Saturday, I was supposed to go cycling with Randy but guess what; I woke up with a cramp on my left leg... I asked my Dad whether it was advisable to cycle with a cramp and he told me that the pain would be worst than it is already... So I told Randy that no cycling trip but we could still go and play pool... I arrived at Downtown East NTUC Resort first as Randy missed the bus but anyway, the place was packed and no pool table were available so we decided to go to the arcade first... After half and hour or so, we went back to see whether there were any pool tables available and finally, there was one... Since it's been a week from now, I couldn't recall the scores but I could remember that Randy had 2 DQs and I had 1... After we played for more than 5 games of pool, my church homie finally could come as her meeting just ended so in the meantime, we continued on... I was surprised to see her alone as she said that her buddy would tag along but she ditched her for some reason but I was glad that she came in the end... Thanks Jocey =) ... So there were 3 of us, loser gets to sit and winner continued on... She was an opponent not to be messed... Both Randy and I lost to her and victorious she was... After that, we went to Ben and Jerry's as I owed her an ice cream treat... Well, since Randy was there too, I gave him a treat as well... She ordered chunky monkey, he ordered mango and I ordered chocolate fudge... When we were done, Jocey had to make a move to meet her friend as she had to pass shoes to her... Thanks for coming again, appreciate it... So Randy and I went back to play pool since we had nothing more to do till it was dinner time... When it was around 7pm, we decided to have our dinner at KFC which was really very crowded... After that, we went back home...

Last Sunday, there was still YMPACT but after that, they had Amazing Race... I didn't join them for a reason that now I can't seem to remember but anyway, after YMPACT service, my Mum and Sis wanted to eat porridge at Suntec City and since I did not join them; I decided to have lunch with them... We really missed the taste of the porridge there especially my Mum as she just loves it... After lunch, we walked around and then decided to have desserts at TCC and soon after that, we made our way home...

Last Monday and Tuesday, it was another day at the office again... I scanned over 200 policies and indexed around 200 policies...

Last Wednesday was a special day for me and all the rest of my classmates as it was, GRADUATION DAY!! I would never miss GRADUATION DAY so I took leave and went back to school... It's been a while now since I stepped into the school... Everybody was all dressed up from top to toe looking fabulous... It was great seeing you all again after so many months... It was a day not to be forgotten...

Now for Yesterday, I went back to work and I guessed that I woke up on the wrong side of the bed... I felt all tired and my boss noticed that and got scolded from her, hat trick... What a lousy day at work...

Now back to the present... Today, I took leave again as I wanted to go and apply for Poly... My Mum also took leave and went together with me to Temasek Polytechnic to apply for the JPAE... We were there early so we had to wait for another 15 minutes before it was opened for applicants... The application took less than an hour as there were only a number of applicants at that time... Everything went on smoothly... When we were leaving the Auditoria, the place was starting to get packed with applicants... Well, all I can do now is to pray and wait for my posting...

This is kind of a long post so take your time to read and since it's been a long time I inserted pictures in my posts, here's a few... But for now... This is JoNaThan... signing out*...

~~~~~Time to SURVIVE!!~~~~~

Wow!! Another week has passed and tomorrow is the start of the weekends again... Time really flies... Anyway, here's my entire week...

Nothing to talk about on last Saturday so I'm just going to skip that and carry on with last Sunday...

Last Sunday, I skipped Small Group session again as I wanted to lunch with my mum... My Sis was sick during that week and so if I went for my Small Group session, who'll accompany my Mum?? Anyway, we went to Cafe Cartel for lunch... It's been a long time since I went there to dine... Thanks Mum for the meal... We ate till our stomachs were full and satisfied... It was a fruitful lunch... Soon after that, we went shopping to get some things... We later went to my Grandparents' to visit not only my Grandparents but my Sis too... She was feeling better already... Her sore throat wasn't as bad as the past few days and her voice sounded better... Get well soon Sis... Take Care...

As for Monday to Wednesday, it was back to the office... I had scanning to do, indexing and sometimes removing of staples... Thankfully I have my iPod with me or else, I'll only be hearing the sound of scanners and the hits on the keyboard... As usual, I worked overtime again except on Monday as I was feeling tired... Somehow, I think it was the lunch that caused me to feel uneasy... So I only worked overtime on Tuesday and Wednesday...

Yesterday, it was still another day at the office but I didn't work overtime as I had an appointment... Last night, I went with Jeremy to Raffles Hotel to watch a play entitled, "Survivor Singapore"... Well, both of us didn't pay a cent for the tickets as Jeremy won them in some radio contest... What a lucky dude... Anyway, we thought it was going to be some lame play since most of the audiences were kids and parents but, we were wrong... The play had some jokes that only 16 and above should hear it but anyway, Kumar was acting in it too... All of us laughed our hats off with his hilarious jokes and acting... Overall, the entire casts were good as they impacted all of us... The feel was there and their acting was very realistic to what each and every one of us faces through each day... Thanks Jeremy for inviting to watch this play... I enjoyed it and I hope you do too...

Now back to the present... I went to work again this morning but decided not to work overtime as I was still feeling very tired from last night... I didn't attend Bible Study session tonight too... Well, the will is strong but the body is weak... So sad to say, my body gave in to the tiredness and thus, I didn't go... Dear Lord, please forgive me for this week... I beg for your forgiveness O Heavenly Father... I'm sorry Lord...

Well, that's my entire week so far... My weekends will be a great one... I can just feel it... So cya all real soon... But for now... This is JoNaThAn... signing out*...
