Day 1
My family and I touched down in Hong Kong at around 4pm on the 23rd of February 2008... We then made our way to our hotel, Dorsett Seaview... Their hotels are very different from Singapore's one as, it was really small... Everything was so cramped up but at least the bed was still reasonable to sleep on... After we settled down and everything, we made our way to the food stalls downstairs along Temple Street and Shanghai Street to have our dinner... It was very dull and unfortunate as it was raining heavily and the temperature was around 12-140C... We managed to dine in at one of the food stalls where we had a fantastic stir-fried oyster omelette... Of all those I had in Singapore, this was the nicest... We walked around the night market for a while and then headed back up to our hotel rooms... It was around 9pm and that was end of day 1...

Day 2
We had to wake up at 6am this morning as we were going on a city tour, which will pick us up at 7:15am... First place we went to was some Convention Centre if I'm not wrong... The scenery there was breath-taking... Once you see the pictures, you'll know why...
Next up, we went to a restaurant, to have our breakfast that served delicious dim sums... Their standard was way beyond the ones I had here in Singapore...
Anyway after a fulfilling breakfast; we then headed up to Victoria's Peak... The view from the top was amazing as we could see the whole of the city from there and it was HUGE...
After that, if I remember correctly, we made our down to Repulse Bay and saw one of Jackie Chan's houses... We were all, the tour group, invited to go into the temple but a few of us didn't enter... We took pictures of the beach and the scenery... Our last stops of the tour were at the Chinese Medicine shop and a Jewellery warehouse...
We were then dropped off at Kimberly Road where many shops and food were found there... We had our lunch at one of the restaurants there... Soon after that, we wanted to find where the Ladies Market... After a 10 minute walk, we finally found it... We shopped... And shopped... And shopped even more... It was like a never-ending shopping and we finally stopped as we were carrying too much stuff and had to go back to our hotel rooms to put it down... We rested for a while and then went out for dinner... We then walked around at the night market near the area... Overall, the weather was better than yesterday...

Day 3
This morning, we didn't have to wake up at 6am again but, we had to wake up at 8am instead as we were going to DISNEYLAND!!... We waited for our tour bus to take us there... Once we were there, we got the admission tickets and off we went...
On the way to TomorrowLand, Main Street was filled with the band performance... They sounded perfect... When we reached TomorrowLand, we went on all the rides except for the Space Mountain and The Buzz Lightyear...
Next up, we went to FantasyLand... We went on all the rides... The only time we stopped was when our stomachs were growling and lunch had to step in... We dined at the Royal Banquet Hall... It was the first time we had western food since we arrived here in Hong Kong... After that we watched a magical 3-D adventure, Mickey's PhilharMagic...
AdventureLand was next... We went on the Jungle River Cruise and watched another live performance which was, Festival of the Lion King... It was an unforgettable performance as everything was just right... They had fire toss, aerobatics and singing... You just have to be there and only then, you'll understand what I saw...
We explored more of the scenery there and went into all of the shops set up as we wanted to wait for the fireworks... We had our dinner at River View Cafe...
Finally it was time... The fireworks were spectacular... Once you see the pictures, you'll know why... Just as we were leaving Disneyland, we were all stunned as suddenly there were just thousands of people... We just couldn't figure out where all of them went to when we were exploring the whole place...
We then took the same tour bus back to the Ladies Market to do more shopping... The time was already 9pm and we only reached back to our hotel rooms at around 11pm... It was one fun and tiring day...

Day 4
Today was the last day we would be staying in Hong Kong so; we decided to wake up at 8am again to have the breakfast buffet in the hotel... We then took a walk around the nearby shops to do more shopping... We went back at around 11:30am as we had to check-out at 12pm... We took the tour bus to the Hong Kong Airport at around 1:30pm...
Well, all the fun and shopping had to come to an end one way or another but we'll be visiting Hong Kong again soon enough... Do enjoy the pictures but for now, it's time for me to jump into my comfortable bed... This is JoNaThAn... signing out*...
