~~~~~Pedal, Pedal!!~~~~~
I guess you readers should know how I always start off... I won't start on what went on for today but, I'll start off with the days that I missed out, which was yesterday...
Yesterday... I went back to work and was surprised to see a present on my working table... I thought it wasn't meant for me so, I just ignored it... When my boss came in, she passed me that present and wished me MERRY CHRISTMAS!! I was shocked and touched... I only worked there for one week and I feel so accepted, like part of a family... Thank You!! Anyways, followed up by that, some of my colleagues gave me gifts too... Well, what can I say besides, THANK YOU ALL!! This is going to be one wonderful Christmas for me... I LOVE THIS CHRISTMAS!!
Today... When I woke up, I was very happy that the sun was shining brightly as Randy and I were planning to go cycling today... Our hopes were shattered when it rained... We thought that the weather would be raining the entire day again... Surprisingly, after half an hour or so, the rained stopped and the sun was shining brightly again... We waited for a while just to make sure that it wasn't going to rain again... I called Randy up that the cycling was still on... I grabbed my bike and went to meet Randy... After meeting up with him, our next destination was Downtown East as; we wanted to play pool... We had to make a detour first as both of us had to pump our tires and then, we set off to our destination... Once we arrived there, we had no idea where to park our bikes so; we just chained them together and placed it at one corner... Pool was intense for me as, it had been quite a while since I got my hands on the pool stick... Well, although I lost to Randy by 7-1, it was a great game as I could see that I had improved... We later rode our bikes back to Tampines Mart to have a meal at MacDonald's... After that, we went to Sunplaza Park to ride around for a while before I had to go back to my Grandma's house for dinner... Sorry Randy for ditching you again... Thanks for agreeing to the bike outing... I really enjoyed myself, although I got trashed by you in pool... =)
Before I end off, I feel that I should say this to all of you readers... Here goes... MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!! Enjoy the season of Thanksgiving and spending time with your family... The New Year will be coming soon so might as well I wish all of you, HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Enjoy yourselves, going out to all my homies and to you... This is JoNaThaN... signing out*...
~~~~~STRIKE!!~~~~~

Today was the best day of my week, period... Before I start on what went on for me today, I'm just going to do a quick summary on the past few days...

On Monday, I woke up extra early in the morning to get ready... Getting ready for what? I was getting ready to report for the first day of my temporary job at Great Eastern... Thanks to my sister, I managed to get the job as she was working there as a permanent staff... Although I don't get my own cubicle like my sister, at least I got my own work station... So my assignment for my first day was to do batching... It was easy when I got used to it... All I had to do was to group 7 policies together and write down the policy numbers on a piece of paper... I was wondering when I could get my hands on their scanner but straight after lunch, I was assigned to scan the policies... It was interesting to work on the scanner as it wasn't the flatbed scanner that we usually have in our home but, it comes with the flatbed and the hopper... All I had to do was to place the policies on the hopper and click scan... The hopper will then do the rest of the scanning... I thought it was that easy to place each policy on the hopper but I shouldn't rejoice so soon... The scanner only allows me to place 10 pieces of paper on it's hopper and not only that, sometimes, the scanner will just pull in two papers at once and scans only one piece instead of two...

As for Tuesday and Yesterday, I did more scanning in work... Not only I had to only scan, I must also always remember to take note on how many policies I had scanned and record it now in a file, that my boss will review everyday... For the record, on Monday, I scanned 32 policies and on Tuesday, 42 policies... But as for Yesterday, I scanned 100 policies and no kidding, 100 polices doesn't mean counting the amount of pages that I had to scan... It may sound relaxing but it's not as easy you think it may be...

Now let's get back to the present, today... I took leave today for a special reason and that was, to attend the Christmas Bowl that my church had organised... I invited Jeremy and Lester to join in the fun... We were allowed to play only 2 games so we took our own sweet time... Well, the fact was; we didn't even have to take our own sweet time as our lane took our role... The lane had some mechanism faults as it took a very long time to set up the pins and I mean it, VERY long time... We also received free dinner after our entertaining game, although we had to wait... After dinner, we went to Tampines Mall and Century Square to do some window shopping for Christmas... Sorry dudes for ditching you as my mum wanted me to carry her shopping bags...

Anyways, that's what went on for the past four days of my week... May all of you have a fun and enjoyable Christmas and prepare for the New Year... Wishing all of you a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!! This is JoNaThAn... signing out*...

~~~~~Unexpected Movie Night!!~~~~~
Well, I should be starting work this week but I had to go for my interview first... So yesterday, I went for my job interview and I was hired on the spot but I'll be starting on this coming Monday as they had to process everything out first before I could start... In the end, I came back in the early afternoon... Since I had not taken my lunch, I went to meet my close friend at MacDonald's...
For my Tuesday, I went to play pool with Lester... After that, we went to the new IKEA that just recently opened in Tampines area... Courts Mega Store will be opening on the 16th if I'm not wrong... Anyways, they have so many types of furniture for us, customers, to choose from...
Now, let's carry on what went on today... I was supposed to pass some stuffs to my close friend over our dinner night out but in the end, we went for a movie instead... I guess my close friend shouldn't be nick-named close friend... How about this, now my close friend will be nick-named, my movie goer... It's my second time watching movie with my movie goer... We went to watch ERAGON!! We enjoyed it very much... We love the dragon, the scenery and the storyline... It's completely fairytale-like and the dragon looked so real... It's a movie worth watching... After that, we were supposed to have dinner but it was already 8.30pm... So, I "da pao" my dinner home as both of us wanted to rush back to catch the Channel 8 serial at 9pm...
What a turnover of event today was... But at the end of everything, we enjoyed the movie night out... Anyways, something is calling out for me now and I need to stop typing and go... It's GAME TIME!! So to all my fellow readers, enjoy your night and your holidays but as for now... This is JoNaThAn... signing out*...
~~~~~Relieving Stress!!~~~~~

Well, it's been one week since the school closed... At first, what came to my mind was, what am I going to do tomorrow?? Now, let's recap what went on during my week...

Monday... I went to meet Lester for pool... We played for a few rounds for 2 hours plus... After those 2 hours, we started to feel hungry as we had not eaten our lunch and due to that, our last game was a long one... We just couldn't put in the black ball into any of the pockets but in the end, Lester did it... We ate Burger King as our late lunch...

Tuesday... I went gym with Jeremy and somehow, I think I overdid it... Anyways it has been a long time since I visited the gym and I must say they have new machines there... We worked out for 1 hour plus and went on the eat Burger King for lunch... It was the last day for me to hang out with Jeremy as he is going, with his family, to Thailand the next morning for his church's mission trip... Jeremy, I also want to wish you HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY in advance... Have fun over there and May God Bless You...

Wednesday... I was supposed to go out with Lester but he got a high fever so in the end, I went shopping alone... I decided to go to Marina Square to get myself some clothes... After walking about for half an hour, I finally bought the clothes I wanted... A black polo t at Zara and a pair of dark blue jeans at Giordano...

Yesterday... I went out for a movie with my close friend... We wanted to watch Casino Royale so; we met up for lunch first since the next slot was 3.50pm... So to kill time, we also went to the arcade... Finally, it was 3.40pm and we could finally proceed to the cinema... The movie was quite alright for me but I won't want to watch it twice... After that, we went to Challenger at Simei... We realised we had not much cash left so, we decided to go home to take our dinner instead of eating out...

Today... I had Bible Study just now and just came back... It's been a long time since I attended Bible Study as I was stressed over projects but all that is now over, period... I could finally touch on Revelations, which they already touched on a few weeks ago... It was a very enlightening book to touch on as I feel it's like solving the mysteries of God... I just love Revelations, even though it's hard to understand everything but I still love it...

Well, that's a recap of my entire week, from Monday to Friday... Enjoy reading this long post... This is JoNaThAn... signing out*...

~~~~~STARTING AFRESH!!~~~~~
School has finally ended and the only main conclusion I have is that, time passes at a blink of an eye... From seconds to minutes, minutes to hours, hours to days, days to weeks, weeks to months and months to years... When you're in school, you feel stressed out and just wish that school would just end but when you're out of school, you just feel like "what's in it for your tomorrow" kind of feeling... Well, two years being in the class of MMT PU0501B/Q, is one of my greatest moments in life... New friends become close friends and close friends become good buddies... I'll never forget all of you... We shared lots of good times and joyful moments together... I especially won't forget my M8 crew... They all have been very patient with me and that really touched me a lot... No matter what the results may be, we all did our best we could and what's done is done... Well, thinking about this and the whole class, I'm really starting to miss all of you... As your Chairman, I want to THANK EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU!! ALL OF YOU rOCkS!! Enjoy your holidays, dudes and dudetats... This is JoNaThAn... signing out*...
~~~~~POWER SLIDE!!~~~~~

Let me start off by saying that this week is much better than last week... I realised that's not important as there's more to life than just sitting here and ponder over lame stuffs...

Anyways, today we had no classes as for MDP, the lab will only be opened if we have M8 stuffs to do and if not, then we don't need to go for MDP classes... As for IGV, they were shifting the systems to another lab and due to that; we had no IGV class...

I woke up at 10am today since there was no school... I went to meet Jeremy, Lester and Raimy at Tampines Mall, Golden Village, to watch a movie entitled, "Tenacious D"... After the movie, we thought that the storyline was a bit crap but the songs they wrote were freaking awesome... Can you imagine each verse has a vulgarity?? Well, if you can't, go watch it... But honestly, if you want to have a good laugh, Jack Black and Kyle Gass will make your day... I guess that with the two duos, Tenacious D was a bang, or should I say ROCKING GOOD!!

Let me continue on with my day... After the movie, Lester and I made our way to the Esplanade, DXO... I was invited to attend the Canon Fest Awards Ceremony and I could bring a friend along too... It was my first time in a club... Anyways, we met lots of Mediacorp artists like Irene Ang, Terence Tay, Caroline Cheong, Rosalind Pho and many others... The MC for the event was our own Mediacorp 98.7fm DJ, Carrie Cheong... It was an enlightening experience to attend this kind of event...

Well, after having so much fun within one day, there's a time to sit back, relax and hit the sack soon... So to all my fellow readers, goodnight, or should I say good morning... Anyways, see you all real soon... This is JoNaThAn...

~~~~~News Breakout!!~~~~~
Well, it's been a rather lousy week for me... Although I have to mention that there were good moments that I really enjoyed and I have to thank all those who were sharing my joy... What really made my week completely ruined was when someone you know blocks you on msn... I mean if you want to block, that's fine but when you say about yourself like, "I'm friendly and blah blah blah", what the hell are you talking?? Is it about yourself or some characteristic taken out from other people's personality?? Well, now I get a clear picture of you... Hope that others don't suffer the fate as me... Look, is it that hard to be friends rather than being some face you see everyday??
Let me end off saying that, if you know who you are, when you block someone who you don't even know that well, are you doing the right thing?? Well, it's kind of a sad post and to be true to myself, it's one of the saddest posts ever... But don't worry; I'll get over it, somehow... Anyways, time for me to get on with my life... ~~~~~I'm Back~~~~~
Well, for these past weeks, I've been having a lot of late nights due to the submission of the M8 project... For two nights straight, I only had 4 hours of sleep but I'm glad that's all over... We just submitted our M8 project last Friday... Now for some backtrack... On last Wednesday, Randy and I went to Funan to print our poster in A3 size format but only to find out that it was so freaking pixelated... So, the next day, we edited the poster resolution and went to Bras Basah Complex to get it printed... Paid 26 bucks for A1 size, glossy paper and mounting... After that, ate MacDonald's for dinner...
Now let's get into what went on for yesterday... Went to church as usual and did SVL duty but it's not any other normal Sunday... It was my Mum's Birthday... So, I attended Small Group for a few hours before leaving to celebrate my Mum's Birthday but only to find out that my SG had cake... Cake for those October and November babies... I got a present... A nice t-shirt... Thanks you all... All of you really made my morning... Anyways, continue what went on after that, my family went to Suntec City to celebrate my Mum's Birthday... She always loves to eat the Teochew porridge there and so, we went there to celebrate...
BREAKING NEWS!! Just received an announcement that there's more work to do... Well, back to the drawing board...
Well then, that's all my dudes and dudats... It's time for me to get on with my work... cya later... This is JoNaThAn... signing out*:)...
~~~~~Happy Birthday!!~~~~~

School has started... Actually, it makes no difference as for the past 3 weeks of my holidays; I went back to school to do post production... We finally submitted our short film for Canon Fest yesterday... To be honest, I didn't know that we had to do packaging for our mini DV tape... It was kind of cool once it was placed together with the tape... I rushed through the design on Thursday night and had a hard time getting the measurements out just right... Anyways, I'm just glad that we managed to finish it in time to submit for Canon Fest... So far in school, we are touching on a new topic which is, Flash... It's very different from Video Production completely...

As for today... If you happen to notice on the right hand side of my blog, today is my 18th Birthday... So what went on today was that, we had our lunch at my Grandparents' place... My mum bought a special lunch for all of us... It was a Swensen's treat from her and followed up by an ice-cream cake bought from Swensen's too... This year was my first time celebrating my actual birthday at my Grandparents' place... Anyways, I had a great time spending my 18th Birthday with them... Thank You!! After we ate our lunch and cake, I went out with my mum to buy presents for myself with the money given by my Grandparents'... I decided to buy myself a Fox cap that costs 45 bucks... Then I went Challenger to get myself an internal DVD/CD Rewriter... Just now, I had Canadian Pizza for dinner and another chocolate birthday cake... Well, what can I say about my 18th Birthday?? It ROCKS!! Thank You mum, dad, sis, grandma, grandpa, little cousins, aunt and uncle... Thank you all for making this a wonderful 18th Birthday for me... I would also like to thank all of you who wished me a Happy Birthday through msn, sms, tagboard and friendster testimonial...

For this time, I'm not going to end off saying the same old stuff... So once again, thank all of you for making me smile for the entire day... This is JoNaThAn...

~~~~~The Departed~~~~~
I apologise to each and every one of my readers and viewers for not updating my blog for more than 2 weeks... I've been busy editing for our short film so that we would be in time to submit to Canon Fest... Finally, today Simon and I finished the editing... Although today Simon didn't go school to help out on the final editing stage, as he was sick, he was there with me for the past 2 weeks editing half of our short film... So Simon, this is for you... Thank You for staying back these past 2 weeks to help out on the editing... Things wouldn't have flowed so smoothly if you didn't help out on the editing... I couldn't have done all these alone so really, a big thank you... To my team, I also thank you all for being patient with me and understanding on what I was doing... If not for all of you, things wouldn't come out the way it should... Although it had some bad comments, don't loose hope... We've done our best and that's what counts... Most of all, we had lots of fun and experience...
So like I mentioned, I've been going to school to do the post production although it was our 3 weeks break... To me, the 3 weeks was more stressful and tiring than going to school... Anyways, at least we're done... For tomorrow, we're going back to school to export our final short film into tape and we'll send it to Canon Fest...
Since I was free in the evening and no more editing is to be done, I went out with Jeremy and Lester at around 6pm to watch "The Departed"... It was a 2-hour movie and the story line was interesting... The language they used was quite vulgar so kids, don't even think of watching this till your 18... The ending was confusing and weird as they finished it off with a rat... It has been a long time since I caught a movie with them...
Well... gonna chill out on my FFX-2 for a while before hitting the sack.... so cya real soon alright.... bye folks........
so long and goodnight, so long and goodnight............ TaKe CaRe you all yo.... ~~~~~Great Job Everyone!!~~~~~
YEAH!! Finally I can get to sit down, fingers on the keyboard and start blogging once again... Holidays just started yesterday, till the end of 3 weeks... Well, for me, holidays or no holidays makes no difference for me as we still have M8 in our hands...
Before I get started, I want to thank those people who came down to give us a helping hand for our M8... Names shall not be mentioned as I rather to keep them confidential... As long as you know who you are, this is for you... Thank You for giving your time to help us to make our scenes a success... Thanks You for being our talent for one of our scenes... You all really helped us a lot... I also want to apologise for being late... In fact, I owe you all a meal... So the next time we meet, remind me... On behalf of my crew, we want to say THANK YOU!!
So here what went on with my past week... On Friday evening, Simon, Ricky and I went to draw our equipment in order to film that night and Saturday night... The bad news was that we had no red-heads and thus, we couldn't film on that night... So we had no choice to film on Saturday and Sunday... We planned to leave our Sunday free but in the end, we had to use our Sunday...
Saturday... We started off in the afternoon to do our jamming scenes... I booked the studio for 4 hours and good thing I did because we made good full use of every single second... Good thing that we had extra people to help us out or else, I think even with 4 hours, it couldn't be done... Next up, we went on to film at Simon's house but this time, our lighting was better I must say... We managed to film the interior of Simon's room and now we're left with the exterior... We wrapped things up around 11.30pm and I reached home around 1am... You should have seen the cab fare when I reached home... 26 bucks to travel from Choa Chu Kang to Tampines...
Now for Sunday... I had duty in church this morning and it has been a long time since I last touched the audio mixer... I missed the chance to go up to the altar to take my Holy Communion as I was too busy on controlling the volume but in the end, I was so touched as they brought the Holy Communion to me... THANK YOU!! You all really made me glad and happy... Anyways, I didn't go for LG and SG as I wanted to come back home as soon as possible after lunch... I had to come back home to rest as I have to film in the night... We managed to film the scene finished thanks to the help we got... Thank You for your great acting and Thank You for giving me advice on my camera angles and teaching me stuff or two... THANK YOU BOTH!!
As for what went on yesterday... I went to school to return the equipments to our supervisor... I had to leave straight after that as I had to go for my IQ test at CMPB... My mum accompanied me there since she was on leave... After that, we ate lunch at Swensen's...
Back to the present day... I went to school today at noon... It was already the holidays and the school was very empty... Since I only went there to capture the tapes, I decided to go alone and let my crew take a break... So there I was alone in the lab, with many computers, a camera, firewire and a DV deck... I regret using the DV deck to capture as, for 2 hours, it couldn't capture and I was already using the 5th station... In the end, I couldn't take it anymore and decided to draw out the camera to capture the tapes... At last, it could be captured... It was already 5pm and I still haven't taken my lunch... Since I was all alone, I couldn't endure the hunger anymore and decided to call for help... I called, MacDonald's... They delivered soon after and finally, my lunch was served...
Well... gonna chill out on my Final Fantasy X-2 for a while before hitting the sack.... so cya real soon alright.... bye folks........
so long and goodnight, so long and goodnight............ TaKe CaRe you all.... ~~~~~3, 2, 1 and ACTION!!~~~~~
Another packed week again... Busier than ever but somehow, it's a good thing... It gives me lesser time to think about things going around my life...
So this was what went on for my past week... On Monday, it was our submission for first MTV... The good news, the exporting went well but the bad news was, it couldn't fit into a cd and thus, problems arise... The AVI format was alright and all but when it came into exporting into MPEG format, any unlucky ideas you could come up with, appeared... Let me give you one, audio came out wrong... Well, after much determination and perseverance, it was burnt into DVD and everything came out fine...
I'm just going skip Tuesday as it was only viewing of our MTVs for both Q and R class... Kind of funny and cute looking at the other MTVs... Good work by the way to all...
Wednesday was the longest day my group members, for M8, and I ever endured... We didn't go to school for that day but instead, we went to do our M8 short film project... Rome, Randy and I met up at Tampines MRT station at 8am.. We set off to shoot our first scene at Potong Pasir... Simon was very early... He waited for us at Potong Pasir MRT station at 7am till 9am... Sorry to have kept you waiting... Anyways, we took lots of takes for that scene... At 10am, we set off to Peninsular... Now, you must be wondering why we went to these places... Well, we were searching for the different studios to shoot... Now back to our different scenes... After we were done, we went on to our next destination, Tampines Studio... It was a mess when we were there... We realised that we were short of a soundman and thus, I had to be the producer/director/cameraman/soundman... We didn't even take the scenes that were supposed to be in the studio, only the outside of it was shot...
Next, we proceeded on to the best scene ever, the pub... It was well shot and the atmosphere was great... Sad to say, our actor couldn't make it and we had to make lots of phone calls but in the end, I had to act... Later, it was off to Simon's house and then, we were all tired and restless already... I tried to get them to at least act some parts of the scenes so that when we go for our second day of shoot, we'll know what camera angles we should use... At the end of the day, we were somehow dissatisfied with the shots and we ended late... What a day it was... Thank you Randy, Simon and Rome for being so patient and understanding... I really appreciate your hard work and as for Ricky, I really hope that you'll join us for our next shoot... I'll tell you the day 2 days in advance and so goes for the rest...
Thursday was one tiring day for my group members and I as we stayed up till 2am to rap things up before making our way back... So tired that I straight away after school, went back and took a quick bath and knock out on my bed...
Friday was one special day for all of us as it was my grandmother's birthday... I went to buy a present for her... Although it doesn't cost much, it's something that she can use and she's happy to get...
Saturday... I rested for today and play Final Fantasy X-2... Leveled my player up... Then went to my grandparents' place, with my mum, to buy some daily essentials... After that, went to have dinner with my dad and mum at some restaurant at TM, Vient Thai... Came home after that... My sis didn't join us as she went for bible study...
Well... gonna chill out on my Final Fantasy X-2 for a while before hitting the sack.... so cya real soon alright.... bye folks........
~~~~~What's This??~~~~~

It's been a long week... Busy is the exact word for this past week... Before I start off with my post, I want to share what I'm feeling right now... Tomorrow is another Sunday and I can't just help it noticing her every week... She just looks more and more mature and gorgeous... The sad thing is that, does she notice me?? How can I be noticed by her if I don't even make effort to go up and talk to her?? The only problem is that, she's always around with people and thus, not having chance to say a simple "hi"... Even so, who am I to her?? Her senior?? So what, she has many seniors way better than me?? Why am I feeling this low?? DAMN!! I just want to be friends with her but why is it so hard??

Alright I don't know what I was typing up there but if any of you know what the hell I was sharing about, keep it to yourselves... Shhh... Now let's begin with my past week... We've been working for our first ever MTV that ate up our whole week, plus shooting and editing... Our MTV was in the genre of Rock but it was an emotional song... We managed to get some extras to act as well... Thank you by the way to those who helped us during our shoot... Anyways, on Thursday and Friday, we managed to join another class to do our editing... Well, somebody had to stay back and do editing so, Ricky and I decided to take the initiative to handle the editing... Officially, the 3 of us, Watie, Lokman and I were the editors but since they were busy and I wasn't, might as well I do the editing... I couldn't possibly do alone so, Ricky decided to tag along... To Watie and Lokman, I understand that both of you want to do parts of the editing but not to worry, I understood which scenes both of you want in and want out... Now back to the editing stage... Ricky and I managed to finish everything yesterday and rendered it out as well... In my opinion, it can be done better but, we tried our best and we are satisfied with our final product... Thanks Ricky for staying back... Now, I really thank my whole crew in the creation of this MTV... Without all of you, it wouldn't turn out the way it should... THANK YOU!!

Let's get on with what went on today... Today was a special day for our church... It was a Food & Fun Fair occasion where we have lots of food, games and of course, worship... I went there with my mum and sis as they had to help out the take care one of their stalls... So since I was free, might as well I take a breather and help out and have fun as well... It was so fun and I really enjoyed being there and by the way, our stall sold lots of moon cakes, snacks and lots more... No regrets of wasting my time or whatsoever... I really made the right choice to tag along and this occasion really made me released my stress... Hallelujah!!

Well... gonna chill out on my Final Fantasy X-2 for a while before hitting the sack.... so cya real soon alright.... bye folks........
so long and goodnight, so long and goodnight............ TaKe CaRe you all yo.... ~~~~~HTD!!~~~~~

Before I start what went on today, I shall tell you all what went on for my past week and yesterday... Oh yes before I forget, to all the teachers out there and mine, HaPpY tEaChErS' dAy!!

So far, I find that it has been a chilly week and I won't be surprised there's more to come... Anyways, my week has been great so far... Our M8 supervisor finally accepted our script... YEAH!! He has given us the green light to go and shoot our short film but he still insists on seeing our shot list... So now, we're left with the shot list... To be exact, half of the shot list as we've touched up the first half of the scenes we're going to shoot...

I didn't go back to my secondary school yesterday as I wanted to have a run-through of our scenes but in the end, I had to attend some teachers' ceremony that my class advisor invited me to attend... I enjoyed watching the whole event until when they decided to do a performance taken from High School Musical... It wasn't that bad but, I feel that with more practise, they'll sound better honestly... Anyways, since I had to attend this event, my group members decided to head back home first and maybe later meet up... When the event was over, when I looked up to the skies, I see dark clouds... Fortunate for me, when I reached back home, then it started to pour down heavily... My surroundings were completely dark like it was the night sky... It was only 3pm then and it was already pitched black... I decided that it wasn't the day to do a run-through shoot so, I told my group members to meet up on Sunday since they're not going to be free today and tomorrow...

Now, let me get started on what I did today... I went shopping with my grandma and little cousin at Econ Mini-Mart... We bought rice and other stuffs... After eating lunch at my grandparents' place, I headed to the gym... Since I decided to go to the gym, I asked Jeremy whether he was free to go... We exercised for about 2 hours... Later after that, I decided to chill out at Jeremy's house... What a day... I really missed the gym... I got so tied down with school projects and all that I don't even have time to go to the gym... Finally, I managed to make time...

Well... gonna chill out on my Final Fantasy X-2 for a while before hitting the sack.... so cya real soon alright.... bye folks........ so long and goodnight, so long and goodnight............ ~~~~~Little Brother!!~~~~~

What a great weekend I had this week... It was full of fun, laughter, learning and worshipping... So far, after having a drop last week, this week turned out to be alright, I guess...

Let me tell you about what went on yesterday... I woke up early in the morning to meet Jeremy at Tampines MRT Station... It was around 10am... Why did I meet him so early?? Well, read on... We took the train to Eunos and to meet Zhao Yi, Lester and Alex... Lester was the last one that we had to wait... Anyways, we took bus 13 to one funny looking house... To be exact, it does look like a house but it was actually a studio... Now, let me tell you why were we there... We went there to do a casting for our IGV lecturer's film... His story was about brotherly love... It was like an Ah Beng film... One of us had to act as the big brother and the other was the little brother... Guess what my role was... Well, I was acting as the little brother all the way through... If you know what type of character I have, then you'll know what the role of the little brother was... It was a really fun experience learning how to act...

After our casting, Lester, Zhao Yi and I went to play pool at Marina Square... As for Jeremy, he went to jam with his fellow church members... It was my very first time playing pool with Zhao Yi and I got to say, he's good... As for Lester, since I played with him pool a few times before, I finally managed to win him once... I finally placed in the black ball... Good game dudes... After that, Jeremy came to join us for lunch... We ate at a restaurant that we hadn't been eating for the past 2 years... It was none other than Kenny Rogers... What a great day I had guys... Thanks!!

Let's carry on what went on today... Today's sermon was preached my Rev Jonathan Seet and it was about giving tithes... No matter how much we earn, we should always give back 10% as that's the Lord's money... Although we're giving 10%, the most important thing is that we give whole heartedly... It was a sermon to be learnt as giving 10% to the Lord is something we should practise...

Well... gonna chill out on my guitar for a while before hitting the sack.... so cya real soon alright.... bye folks........

~~~~~I Missed!!~~~~~
Today was one of my favourite days I guess... Well, it's the 21st and in 2 months time, it's a special day for me...
Anyways, during IGV lesson, I presented our M8 script work and synopsis to one of our lecturers... The good news she gave us was that our story would be an interesting short film but the bad news was that we had to change the mood of the story... What we planned on doing was somehow quite emo but she advised that we make it into a comedy since our dialogue doesn't fit in that mood... Well, it was quite a heart aching experience hearing that at first but she has a point... Viewers, including myself, would prefer to watch a comedy rather than some sad old movies... So, we planned on starting a new concept of our story tomorrow...
During SW lesson, we did our last station for NAPFA, which were our sit-ups... After that, Randy, Ricky and I went to the street soccer court to do none other than, playing soccer... Since there were only three of us, we played penalty... I shot in a few goals and blocked a few goals too... Later on, Terence joined us... He wanted to be goalkeeper a while... The funny thing happened when I was about to score... I wanted to do a step-over but much to my disappointment, I tripped and fell... To be exact, I stepped on the ball instead of using my foot to go around the ball and thus, I fell... Hurt my foot for a while but continued on playing after that... Justin and Shun Keat joined us later on too... So we decided to have a 3-on-3 match... I did a step-over again and finally connected with a scoring opportunity at the end... After such a great game, Randy, Ricky and I went to chill at Cafe 2 for a while... We made our separate ways after having our drinks...
Well... gonna chill out on a new synopsis and script for a while before hitting the sack.... so cya real soon alright.... bye folks........
~~~~~Sour to Sweet!!~~~~~

Let me start off with what I did the whole of yesterday... I woke up at around 1pm thus, my whole morning just drifted away in my dreamland... Well, sad to say, I couldn't recall what I dreamt at all... If you try waking up around that time, you'll feel that your whole body will start to ache a bit... So lesson learnt, hopefully, never sleep for too long... I only took my lunch at 3pm, since I took my very late breakfast at 1.30pm... What else can I eat for lunch?? Well, you don't need to crack your brains to get it right... I ate cup noodles... Chicken Koka noodles to be exact... I went to my grandparents' place, with my mum, for a Yoshinoya dinner that we bought for them and us to eat...

Today was the best day for my entire week... I went to church today and worshipped the Lord... That's only the beginning my friends... Sermon was also very entertaining, light heartening and something that we all can reflect onto our lives... Uncle Charlie preached saying that cuteness, beauty, muscles and etc. won't last but what we'll carry on is His gift onto us... Each of us has a special and unique skill that we acquire and that is what the Lord has given onto us... That is something that will last till the day we are no longer here... Today was the day that was a turnover for me... From a sour week that I faced, to a sweet week thanks to the Lord... THANK YOU!!!

Well... gonna hit the sack right after this.... it's been a long day.... so cya real soon alright.... bye folks........

~~~~~Worst Week!!~~~~~
I have no idea what's wrong or what's happening for this whole week... It's one of the worst weeks I would like to put behind... I can't believe that things turned out sour at the end... I'm feeling stressed, worn out and upset with myself... Anyways, let me start off at the beginning of the whole shitty week...
Monday... We had Napfa test today... I don't mind doing Napfa test but the only problem was that for the past 3 weeks, we haven't even had our PE lessons... No training at all... We had to self-train and judging from our timetable, we'll come back with our heads on our pillows... We had to do 4 stations... Shuttle Run, Sit and Reach, Standing Broad Jump, Chin-Ups and 2.4km run... It was a shock to most of our bodies after our 2.4km run as it was long time since we touched the tracks...
Tuesday... We got scolded by one of our lecturers for not completing our pre-production for M7 video project 1... He gave the whole class an "F" for not handing all the paper work in time like script, storyboarding etc... All of us were very upset and some even broke down, not in a crying manner... Since most of us completed our script after that lesson, we still submitted in our hard work at our last slot of IGV...
Wednesday... Second day after Napfa and most of us were still walking like robots... It was quite funny though as we had a hard time sitting down and standing up... We even had trouble walking...
Thursday... Yesterday, we did our video project 1 filming... It was a 5 minutes short film and our story was about friendship... We managed to finish in time but returned our equipment a few minutes later and thus, most of us got our marks deducted... We were not the only ones... Most of the groups also shared the same fate... Well, I guess this would be a learning lesson for all of us... Punctuality is very important in the filming world...
Friday... Today, all we did was discussed on our script and shot list... After that, I went for my guitar CCA... Surprisingly, Justin came along too and he even brought his electric guitar... He wanted to discuss with our guitar instructor about our graduation night... Glad that you came man... Nice mini amp by the way... I was supposed to go for my bible study just now but came back extremely tired and fell asleep... I woke up around 9pm to have my dinner... I felt that I could have just pulled myself up and attend bible study but my body won't let me to... I'm really very sorry Lord for not attending your lesson, please do forgive me...
Well... gonna hit the sack right after this.... so cya real soon alright.... bye folks........
~~~~~Silence, Camera rolling, ACTION!!~~~~~

The three words used on the actual filming set... Silence on the set, Camera rolling and ACTION... They had to make sure that the sound was alright, sun was at the right angle and which position is the camera supposed to be facing...

This morning, I had to wake up early again as Jeremy and I had to go to Lorong Buangkok to help out Mr Boi and his crew... Not only to help but to learn a few tips as well... It was produced and directed very well... The actors and actresses were sometimes complaining but they were still persistent on finishing their parts... The enjoyable part of watching films in the making is that, the actor or actress forgets their lines or says a total different line... The first few times of saying the same line was alright but after a while, they would forget and that's the funny part... The way they actually forget their lines are beyond words... You have to be there to enjoy the making of a short film... It's too bad that Jeremy and I had to leave half way as we had to go back to church... Jeremy has fellowship every Saturday and I have to help out with the Bible Olympia the church I attend organised...

Overall, the 7 hours on the set, 9am to 4pm, were very enjoyable and knowing the different types of camera angles and environment really makes different impacts... I feel that I have learnt lots of different stuffs put together on today's set that I attended... I wonder what the ending would turn out to be... I can't wait to find out...

Well... gonna hit the sack right about now.... it's been a rather very long day once again... so cya real soon alright.... bye folks........ so long and goodnight, so long and goodnight............ ~~~~~Check + Up!!~~~~~

Today was all a different day for me... I didn't attend classes and for one main reason, my NS medical checkup... So instead of waking up the usual time to go to school, I had to wake up to go for this...

It lasted for 3 hours plus, excluding the IQ test... I have to go on a different day for my IQ test as they had too many people to handle... The checkup wasn't as bad I thought it was... In fact, everything was kind of fast... I guessed that they've been doing these stuffs for quite a while now... I actually thought it would be scary or what but everything went on with the flow... Different stations, different checks...

Anyways, for this whole week, my group members and I have been working hard on producing out the script... Although our first draft was slightly unrealistic, we're now working on an improved version... The dialogue has been changed and more into the character himself... Hope that it would be an acceptable script...
Well... gonna hit the sack now.... it's been a long day... so cya real soon alright.... bye folks........

~~~~~BABY!!~~~~~
Church was good today... My nose bled again on the way to church but that was the final time as until now, no bleeding... I hope that's true... I was on duty at church today and I had to get my hands onto the audio mixer and computer...
Anyways, after church today, I went to meet my pals from my class at Punggol MRT station as we were going to see a baby... A baby that is close to all of us... A baby that is from our very own Class Advisor... A group of us went to her house to pay a visit and to look at her adorable baby boy... It's been a more than 1 month since we last saw our Class Advisor... We had so much to tell but everything had to come to the end as she had an appointment to attend and we didn't want to be in her way... We enjoyed ourselves there very much... God Bless You and Your Family Mrs Cheong!!
Well... gonna start working out on the script before hitting the sack.... so cya real soon alright.... bye folks........
~~~~~Click Your Life Away!!~~~~~

Since I can't find the time to blog everyday, I shall make effort to at least blog once a week... Speaking of my week, I feel that but flu is not fully cured yet... Hope by next week, I would be able to breathe without having any blockages...

Anyways, for the past week; my days were not too bad I must say... It was the second week of school and projects were coming in fast... IGV was getting more and more interesting... We learnt what 3 point lighting was and how to make our actor or actress 3d-like... Speaking of IGV, finally our synopsis for M8 was accepted and we were given the green light to go on with our script writing...

Today was my sis's birthday... I'm not going to announce her age here as well, she'll do something nasty to me... Anyways, we had our lunch at Pariss, along with my grandparents, aunty, uncle and cousins... It was a scrumptious meal... Happy Birthday Sis!! May God Bless You and May All Your Wishes Come True...

After lunch, my mum and I went to watch the movie "Click"... It was a very entertaining movie... The way the story was plotted was something we had seen a thousand times but they made it so different that we came out excellent... If you need a good laugh, I recommend this to you... Although this would make you laugh your head off, it's also heart warming as it comes with sad moments... It's a heart touching must watch comedy movie and the morale of the story is that, never take what you have now for granted... Treasure the people around you as time will pass by in a blink of an eye...

Well... gonna chill out on my guitar for a while before hitting the sack.... so cya real soon alright.... bye folks........

~~~~~Guess What's Back!!~~~~~
Well, I finally got the feel to blog again... After the 19th of July, nothing much happened during the 4 days left of holidays... But come to think of it, my nose bled on Friday, Saturday and Sunday... It's not continuous, that's a relief, but it's twice a day... It bled in the morning when I woke up and it bled again before I went to sleep... It's a lost of blood for me... So last Sunday, I decided that it was time to see a doctor to have a look into the deep darkness... After much examination, the doctor prescribed me with antibiotics and flu medicine... Just my luck, 4 days left to the reopening of school and my nose started bleed...
I know that I haven't been updating the past week when I went back to school so, here what went on for the whole week...
For Monday, it's back to school and surprisingly, everybody noticed my new glasses... My group members and I were anxious to know what we would be doing for our final year project... We were happy and excited that we got into the video production project and we would be doing our own short film...
Tuesday to Friday... We learnt new modules for this term such as DAT, IGV and MDP... DAT stands for 3D Animation Techniques... IGVP stands for Interactive Graphic and Video Production... MDP stands for Multimedia Development Project...
MDP is a module that lets us discuss on how we are going to plan for our final year (M8) project... We're now writing out our synopsis of our story but it still lacks something... Our lecturer, Mr Boi advised us to improve on it even more or else it'll be dry and boring... The stress is back and now we've to add in more pepper into a big bowl of chicken soup... We'll continue working hard on the planning for our short film no matter what...
Forgot to mention that this afternoon, I went to do ushering for my school's guitar concert... It was not that great but, it was RoCkin' Great... The Rock Bands that performed were ROCKING HARD!! There were also the choir and they did a wonderful job doing their thing which was none other than singing their all...
Well... gonna chill out on my guitar for a while before hitting the sack.... so cya real soon alright.... bye folks........
~~~~~Final Pool!!~~~~~

Today was the last time I'm going to play pool as next Monday, school reopens... So I decided to call Lester and Jeremy to play pool... In the end, it was only Lester and me playing... Jeremy was busy so he decided not to join us...

We went to Downtown East to play pool at around 5pm... It was a mistake to play pool around that time as the place was full house... We waited until it was 6pm then we finally got a table... So finally, we could start... I could finally slice the cue ball into the pockets but unfortunately, when there was only the black ball left, I shot 3 times without shooting into the pocket I aimed for hence, he won... The score wasn't that bad as the previous times I played... It was 7-3 and 3 of the shots I could have won but like I mentioned, wrong pocket...

After an hour of playing, we decided to have our dinner there... We ate the chicken rice at the food court which was my favourite... I just love the chicken rice there... The rice was not too soft or hard... The chicken was fresh... I don't mind spending 4 bucks on my chicken rice... Anyways, good match Lester... Maybe next time, I would be the one getting 7 but I guess it'll take me a while before I can beat you in pool...

Well... gonna chill out on my guitar for a while before hitting the sack.... so cya real soon alright.... bye folks........

~~~~~A Smoky Night!!~~~~~
Tonight is a night I'll never forget... After much preparations, meetings, and discussions, this is the night for one enjoyable barbeque... PU0501Q's night of fun and laughter...
I just came back from my class barbeque that was held at Changi Aloha... It was so much fun... There was so much food too... Most of the cooked food, that was catered, was all gone... Unlike the barbequed food, I think there's still half remaining...
They had rented the chalet for 3days 2 nights but a few of us, including myself, only went for the barbeque... Since I won't be staying, might as well help out as much as I can so I decided to help out with the barbeque... The fire took quite some time to fill the whole pit as the charcoals were quite big but in the end, after half an hour if I'm not wrong, the fire was beautiful... Finally, we could cook the food... After our stomachs were filled, some of us went back in to play Xbox that was brought by Rudy... Played Winning Eleven 8 or 9, I can't remember but I know I lost by 2 goals... Italy won Portugal... I guess some of you may know which country I'm playing...
Soon after that match, Randy and I made our way home in bus 29... Such a smoky night but such wonderful memories...
Well... gonna chill out on my Pro Evolution Soccer 5 for a while before hitting the sack.... so cya real soon alright.... bye folks........
~~~~~BAYBEATS 2006!!~~~~~

I just came back from the all amazing concert at esplanade... BAYBEATS 2006... Although I didn't manage to catch yesterday's concert, at least I managed to catch today's one... It was so exciting and full of screams...

We watched the bands, A Vacant Affair, Plain Sunset and The Velvet Teen... During when the band, A Vacant Affair performed, we were in the second row after the stage... If those who went for this type of concerts, I'm sure you know what it means by getting mosh... Anyways, there were a lot of body surfs when we were in there... It was really funny and can get pretty rough in there... For Plain Sunset, we watched from outside the arena as we just came back from dinner and we didn't want to get mosh around with our filled stomachs... As for The Velvet Teen, they're from US and they were rocking good... I love watching how the guitarist does his shredding... It was so CooL!!

Overall, I did enjoy myself and of course how could I forget to mention the two dudes who went with me there... Lester and Jeremy, thanks... Thanks for all that moshing too... It really made my body moved... There are photos and a video at the bottom of the post... Do check it out...

~~~~~Skills Getting Better!!~~~~~
After being defeated to Randy, 10-2, it's high time for me to train more... So today, I decided to have a game of pool again with Lester...
I met Lester around 4pm at Downtown East NTUC Resort... We started off the game with some lousy shots but, he still won me in the first round... When it was time for me to break ball, the funny thing was that every time I break ball, the white ball goes straight into the hole and the other balls just moved and inch or two... We started at around 4pm and wanted to end around 6pm but Jeremy called and said that he just finished school so, we continued on playing... So the score for Lester against me was, 7-2... I played only one round with Jeremy but I won by luck... He shot the last black ball in and his white ball went in too so, I won... When Lester was going against Jeremy, Jeremy won Lester without putting his white ball in... There's a funny video that I took when it was Lester's turn... Keep your eyes here and watch the video later...
After our game of pool, the three of us went to City Hall as I wanted to meet Randy to collect something from him but it turned out that he wasn't even close to City Hall... He was at Jurong... Jeremy went there to have dinner with his church mates and since Lester and I were there, might as well we grab a bite too... So, we went to Marina Square to do some window shopping as it's been quite a while since I last bought myself clothes but I didn't feel like buying anything today... We went to have our dinner at Han's which was a mistake... It turned out that both of our omelettes were extremely soft and very bland but at least their fries were not too bad... After that, we made our way home...
Since I haven't checked my results in the day, I have to check now... YEAH!! I just checked it out and I scored As for Computer Graphics (3D), Digital and Media Services and Networking Fundamentals... This is something to add on to my wonderful day I had today... WOOOHHHHOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I'm so happy with my results...
Well... gonna chill out on my guitar for a while before hitting the sack.... so cya real soon alright.... bye folks........ so long and goodnight, so long and goodnight............ ~~~~~FORZA ITALIA!!~~~~~
After 120 minutes of pure intensity, it all came down to the penalty shootout... France conceded their first goal, with a penalty shot by Zidane, at the beginning of the first half of the match due to a tackle made inside the penalty box... The Italians countered back with their own marvelous header into the back of the net... It was a corner kick, at the 19th minute that Marco Materazzi connects with that marvelous header... Barthez was nowhere near that magnificent goal...
In the second half of the match... Both the Italians and the French had their own fair share of shots on goals but, it was all a disappointment when the scores are still 1-1 after 90 minutes of intense action on the pitch... So now all is all down with extra time and the penalty shootout... At the dying minutes of the first half of extra time, Zidane had the ball on his head but it was a great save by Buffon... Buffon ruins history as he palms over Zidane's goal-bounded header at the 103 minutes...
For the first time in the world cup, Zidane got himself a red card and was sent off due to a violent head-butt to Materazzi chest... It was uncalled for... Everybody, including myself, was shocked and surprised to see Zidane acting in that unexpected behaviour... It was such a disappointment and a disgrace to France... Overall, at least Zidane did score their one and only goal against Italy...
Now it was all down to the penalty shootout... After 120 minutes of playing, the deadlock couldn't be broken and it all comes down to this... Who will make history this year?? Trezequet misses the shot... It all lies down to this final shot for Italy... Grosso from Italy made the shot and GOAL!! ITALY WON THE WORLD CUP!!!!! They're now the 4 time champion... Hurray for the Italians...
Well... gonna chill out on my Pro Evolution Soccer 5 for a while before hitting the sack.... so cya real soon alright.... bye folks........
